1 Registration
The registration for the participation at the courses of acontatto in Malcesine at Lake Garda happens:
In writing through the registration form. The registration is firm with the signature on the registration form and the participant approves the conditions of participation.
Per Internet. This registration is firm even without signature.
Per Email to info@acontatto.com. This registration is firm even without signature.
2 Registration confirmation
The registrations will be considered in order of entry at acontatto. The participant, who registers at an early stage, will normally receive a written registration confirmation, otherwise by telephone.
3 Course confirmation
If the minimal number of participants of the booked course is reached, the participant will receive (at least 1 week before the start of the course) a written course confirmation.
4 Terms of payment
The course fee can be payed:
5 Cancellation
The cancellation of a course, booked by the participant, has to occure in writing by mail or email at info@acontatto.com. A cancellation free of charge, of a course booked by a participant, is possible at least 6 weeks before the start of the course. If the cancallation is made later, we have to charge a cancellation fee of:
at least one week before the start of the course: 50% of the course fee
within the week before the start of the course: 75% of the course fee
If the participant does not cancel the course, he has to pay the complete course fee, whether he appears or not.
It is possible to designate a surrogate participant.
(For cancellations by mail the date of the arrival at acontatto is decisive.)
6 Alteration/ Cancellation by acontatto
The mentioning of a course in the programme of acontatto is an offer, not a commitment. A course is only firm with the confirmation of the course to the participant.
Despite careful planning, confirmations can only be made with reservation of the disponability of the lecturer and the technical and spatial preconditions. Acontatto has the right to change the time or the location of a course (within the city of Malcesine), if this disponability is not given, for an unforeseeable reason, or to cancel a course – if necessary even on short notice.
If a course is cancelled by acontatto, the payments, which are already made by the clients, are refunded. Further demands (p.e. refund of cancellation costs for journey and accommodation) can not be allowed unless the cancellation can be traced back to deliberate and grossly negligent behaviour of acontatto, their staff or agents.
7 Change of lecturer
A change of the lecturer (also during a running course) does neither entitle the participant to decline nor to decrease the course fee.
8 Contact person
The only contact person for the organisation of the course is the management of acontatto. The lecturers are not authorized to speak for acontatto. Any confirmations are invalid.
9 Liability
Acontatto is not liable for any damages, unless they are made deliberately or grossly negligently by their staff or agents.
10 Data protection
The participant agrees that acontatto processes personal data for intern seminary and examination purposes, as well as eventual delivery of information about the language school. Should the participant not agree, he can indicate this on his registration form.
11 Final provisions
If it should emerge that one or more provisions of these participation conditions are or will be effectless, the efficacy of the other provisions stays intact. Instead of the effectless provisions, the provisions of the law become active. There are no subsidiary agreements, unless they are set out in writing on the registration. Alterations and additions of any kind have to be made in writing.
